Scholarships are awarded on the basis of talent. Instrumental scholarships are usually awarded in the spring semester of the academic year based upon the student's ability to grow musically and perform at a high level during the fall semester. Generally awards are given in the following hierarchy (this does not infer past practice):

1. Music Majors

2. Full Time Students

3. Part-Time Students

4. Community Members

Scholarships specifically available for music students:

  • J. Albert Kindig Memorial Scholarship
  • Don Kramer Memorial Music Scholarship
  • Frank J. Pavelin Memorial Scholarship
  • Music Talent Grants - detailed information from the Music Department.

Some scholarship amounts are based upon the amount of money available and the number of students applying.

Deadlines will be posted outside of room 1137 and 1135.
